The Wixom DDA will celebrate its annual Block Party on Saturday, September 23rd in Downtown Wixom. All the fun starts at 3:00 pm on Pontiac Trail, between Wixom and Old Wixom Roads. The community will enjoy local artisans, kid’s games and crafts, fowling, corn hole, local food trucks, and great music.
Joining the Block Party this year are many new food trucks and vendors. People will enjoy Cousins Maine Lobster, Kyrsia’s Kitchen, EJ’s Gourmet Street Cuisine, The Grilled Wrap, and Bucks-n-Dinks BBQ Food Truck. The DDA looks forward to providing a variety of games and activities for kids of all ages.
There won’t be a lack of entertainment at this year’s event. The Wixom DDA are excited that Mega 80’s will be closing out the day with a two-hour set. So make sure to dress in your best 80’s attire to add to the fun.
This event coincides with the State of Michigan’s designated Downtown Day. This special day helps highlight main street communities and all their downtowns have to offer. Make sure to check out the Downtown Wixom Facebook page for more information.
