Derby Day Races
Join us for this fun family friendly event in Downtown Wixom on May 3rd. There is a race for everyone – 10k, 5k, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. All participants will receive a medal, Derby Day Wristband, and Derby Day Bag. Those registered by April 5th will guarantee a Derby Day t-shirt.

Derby Day Packet Pick Up: Friday, May 2nd, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm @ Wixom City Hall 49045 Pontiac Trail – We encourage all to come to this packet pick up as we are seeing record numbers of registrants for the Derby Day Races. By doing so will cut down on long lines the morning of the race and will help things move along Saturday morning.
Derby Day T-shirts: Those that registered by the April 5th deadline to secure a race t-shirt will receive their shirt in the size they requested at packet pick up. Those that did not secure a race t-shirt can stop by the registration tables after the race to pick out a shirt, this is first come, first served – sizes are limited. If you need to exchange a size you can do it at the same time after the race.
Derby Day will take place at Sibley Square Park – 49000 Pontiac Trail, Wixom – Saturday, May 3rd, 8:00 am to 11:00 am
Derby Day Races Schedule:
8:00 am – Event begins
8:00 am to 8:30 am – Day of Registrations/Packet Pick Up
8:15 am – Warm up with MoreFit
8:30 am to 1:30 am – Pony Rides & Petting Farm Open
8:40 am – 10k starts
8:50 am – 5k starts
9:00 am – 1 Mile Fun Run starts
10:00 am to 10:30 am (approx.) – Awards
11:00 am – Event ends
