Derby Day Run

The 5th annual Wixom Derby Day 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run will be a great time in Downtown Wixom. Enjoy our scenic route along the Michigan Airline Trail and through the beautiful downtown neighborhoods. Your participation will help our charity partner Camp Casey. This is our 4th year partnering with them and supporting their mission of bringing the healing power of horses to children with cancer and rare blood disorders. $5.00 from each race registration will go to Camp Casey to benefit its programs. We hope you can join us!

10K Start – 8:40 am
5K Start – 8:50 am
1 Mile Start – 9:00 am
The award ceremony for overall winners will begin approximately at 10:30 am.
Packet Pick Up will take place on Friday, May 6th at Wixom City Hall, 49045 Pontiac Trail from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Day of registration will be available, with credit card ONLY, opens at 8:00 am – Derby Day t-shirts will be limited to those who use the day of registration.
Race Day Schedule:
8:00 am: Day of Registration opens/Packet Pick Up/First round of announcements
8:15 am: Race warm-up led by More Fit begins
8:40 am: 10K starts
8:50 am: 5K starts
9:00 am: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts
8:40 am – 10:30 am – Tot Trot
10:30 am (approximately) – Awards for overall winners and 1st, 2nd, 3rd places for 10K and 5k Male and female begins.
11:00 am: Final announcements
