Skelly, Maude, and friends are back for another round of Halloween shenanigans and ready to welcome you as you visit Downtown Wixom. They cannot wait to participate in the Downtown Development Authority’s October events, the Spooktacular Treat Hunt and Sip n Stroll – Ladies Night Out Halloween Edition.
You too can join in the shenanigans with Skelly and Maude! Join the DDA and the skeleton crew on Saturday, October 21st from noon to 2:30 p.m. for the second annual Spooktacular Treat Hunt. The littlest of ghosts and goblins will enjoy trick or treating at downtown businesses and have fun with activities located at Sibley Park.
Children ages 1-10 will enjoy a magic show and crafts, along with the Spooktacular Pumpkin Patch. The DDA will be giving out pumpkins to the first 150 children, make sure to receive a wristband from the DDA table.
Not all the Halloween fun is for the kids, ladies will enjoy the Sip n Stroll – Ladies Night Out – Halloween Edition on Wednesday, October 25th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. This is a great night to come out in costume, enter the costume contest, sing karaoke, dine, sip, shop, and stroll!
The Wixom DDA is teaming up with Warriors for Warriors (W4W) to help them raise funds for those who are fighting cancer. Representatives from W4W will be at the DDA tent to speak with and collect donations for this cause near and dear to all of us.
There is no need to register for either event, come out and have a haunting good time in Downtown Wixom!
