The Wixom Downtown Development Authority (DDA), along with the South Lyon DDA, Lyon Township/New Hudson DDA, Highland DDA, and Milford DDA, with support from Main Street Oakland County, is excited to collaborate with MetroMode Media on a series of articles highlighting what our West Oakland communities have in common—and what makes each one unique.
From our downtowns and local businesses to our trails, events, and strong sense of community, each community has its own story to tell while sharing many of the same values and goals.
The latest article, “How West Oakland Communities Grow Without Losing What Makes Them Special,” takes a closer look at how our communities are embracing growth while preserving the character and connections that make them special.
