Some friendly visitors have arrived for another season of spooky shenanigans and fun. The Wixom Downtown Development Authority (DDA) loves having their friends Skelly, Maude and company take over the district. These skeletons love hanging out on the bikes around town and enjoy providing the community with smiles and photo opportunities.

Another addition you will see downtown are hay bales and pumpkins. The DDA will decorate in front of businesses to add a little Autumn flair to downtown. This will all come together on Saturday, October 19th for the Spooktacular Treat Hunt.
The Spooktacular Treat Hunt is a free event that children the ages 2-10 are invited to dress up and enjoy trick or treating at participating businesses downtown. The event is from Noon to 2:30 pm starting at Sibley Park. The DDA will provide a map to follow and a Spooktacular Treat Bag for kids to collect treats in. The businesses are ready for all to come out and have fun with them for this special day.

Also, the Spooktacular Pumpkin Patch sponsored by Ashgrove Marketing will be open to the first 180 kids to pick out a pumpkin. The DDA encourages families to dine downtown, take pictures with Skelly, Maude and friends, and enjoy the day. Whether it’s rain or shine, the Wixom DDA can’t wait to see all little ghosts and goblins at the Spooktacular Treat Hunt on Saturday, October 19th!
